Reconciliation Clerk 05/02/2019

The Truck Reconciliation clerk is responsible in ensuring that all the incoming delivery trucks are updated on a daily basis in the system and all other related reconciliatory work.

The selected candidate will be mainly required to:

  • Reconcile all delivery trucks on a daily basis;
  • Check that all invoices are signed and check drivers' calculations on cash sales and invoices;
  • Inputting of truck details, drivers names, empties, vouchers and returns and other data as necessary;
  • Keeping records of drivers pending issues such as unsigned cheques, unsigned invoices and following up accordingly;
  • Reconciliation of cash receipts and daily update of bank spreadsheet;
  • Liaising courteously with customers;
  • Checking and update of cash controls for all depots.

 

The selected candidate will:

  • Ideally have an Ordinary Level of Education;
  • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Be able to work in a dynamic and changing environment;
  • Be self-motivated, show initiative and capable to work independently;
  • Practice high ethical and quality standards at all times.
