Officer – Planning Administration 5/26/2022

A vacancy has arisen for the post of Officer – Planning & Administration within the Operations department. The General Objective is to assist in the overall planning and coordination of all the human resources and materials related to the production processes of the Beer Packaging and Keg Plant line.

Job Duties:

  • Compile and maintain rosters for all personnel on production lines including QA Technicians, by using Indigo Suite or any other system which facilitates personnel rostering, scheduling, attendance tracking and leave booking.
  • Support in the preparation of production plans and issue reports relevant to the production planning activity.
  • Use EIT and Excel software to issue production information relative to OEE’s and machine stoppages to assist management in continuous improvement in productivity.
  • Issue handover instructions to the Process Leaders and fill in for other personnel in the Manufacturing Systems Section where necessary.
  • Assist superiors in the formulation of the production schedule; planned plant maintenance and/or cleaning.
  • Effect changes in work performance, methods and systems as and when directed by superiors.
  • Perform job reconciliations vs declarations prepared by Process Leaders, logo pack quantities reconciliations, Logistics Centre reconciliations, and syrup reconciliations with the Finance & Logistics departments.
  • Gather data pertaining to Beer Packaging and Keg Plant production key performance indicators and consolidate such reporting on a monthly basis; while drawing attention to superiors of any exceptional trends.
  • Assist process managers in gathering and organising data and documentation such as record sheets according to standard procedures.

The selected candidate will:

  • ideally have as a minimum an A’ Level standard of education or a related Diploma/Technical qualification;
  • have experience in an operations environment;
  • show proactivity, initiative and creativity;
  • be an excellent communicator both verbally and written, possessing ICT and good presentation skills;
  • have good analytical skills and be proactive.
