The Malta Football Association recently hosted an official dinner for Northern Ireland FA and Austria FA officials on the occasion of the friendly international match ‘A’ against Northern Ireland and Under 21 match against Austria that Malta played recently.
The dinner was held in the Old Boardroom of Farsons’ Brewery with the beautiful tapestry by famous Flemish weaver Urban Leyuiers from the 18th century acting as backdrop for this special occasion.
The officials included Mr Jim Shaw, Northern Ireland FA President, Mr Jim Boyce, Honorary President of the Northern Ireland FA and Vice-President of FIFA, Mr Viktor Jirku, Austrian Head of Delegation and Mr Norman Darmanin Demajo, President of the Malta Football Association. They were greeted by Mr Louis A Farrugia, and Mr Norman Aquilina, Chairman and CEO of the Farsons Group respectively.
