The two steaks featured on the Chef Select menu turns back time to boisterous evenings in New York City or Chicago in the 50s and 60s when ‘Surf and Turf’ were menu staples. Friday’s Chef Selects menu features both. The elegant Chargrilled Fillet Mignon and Chargrilled New York Strip Steak are both made to order and topped with red wine demi-glace, garnished with sautéed mushrooms and crumbled bacon. If one’s fancy turns to lamb, the Garlic Marinated Grilled Lamb Chops topped with a red wine demi-glace and served with oven-roasted radishes and carrots is a delightful option.
