On the occasion of BURGER KING®’s 10th Anniversary, seven staff members of Burger King were presented with their 10-year long service memento gifts. Farsons Group Chief Executive, Louis A Farrugia, presented the gifts during a ceremony which was held at Burger King®’s flagship restaurant in Valletta.
Christine Agius, Godwin Borg, Stephen Borg, Stephen Campbell, Johann Gatt, Joe Magro and Alex Mifsud, all joined Burger King in 1995. They were each presented with a Burger King® branded Mdina Glass gift and an exclusive Burger King® pin in recognition of the 10th year celebration and for their long term commitment.
Twenty one other staff members of Burger King® were presented with a memento for their five-year long service. These were Rita Agius, Stella Borg, Jacqueline Bartolo, Margaret Bugeja, Josephine Briffa, Euphemia Calleja, Rita Casha, George Cini, Norbert Dalli, Denise Degiorgio, Shawn Ellul, Christina Farrugia, Mariella Farrugia, Anna Grech, Janet Mamo, Nadia Meilaq, Patrick Mangion, Clifton Sammut, Victoria Sciberras, Rita Scicluna, Josephine aka Josette Zammit.
Louis A Farrugia thanked the present employees and all those who are currently employed with Burger King® for their commitment and dedication. He said: “Our staff has played a key role in the development of Burger King® franchisee in Malta. They are continuously being trained to ensure that we offer the best service to our customers.”
To mark the 10th Anniversary, Burger King® organised a charity event in aid of Caritas at Freedom Square on Saturday, 4th June with the guest participation of Davide Bertaccini, the Italian goalkeeper of A.S. Cervia 1920 and of Campioni il Sogno Mediaset TV Reality Show.
