On the occasion of Pizza Hut's 10th Anniversary, eleven employees received a memento gift from Farsons Group Chief Executive, Louis A Farrugia. The presentation ceremony was held at Pizza Hut restaurant in St. Julian's, which was the first flagship restaurant opened in 1993.
The pen set gifts were presented in recognition of their 10-year long service with Pizza Hut and of their hard work, which has produced positive results. The employees receiving the gifts were: Stefania Conte, Godwin Borg, Maria Richardson, Karl Calleja, Steven Spiteri, Nathalie Saydon, Rita Falzon, Anna Jane Agius, Malcolm Micallef, Michael Portelli and Simon Fleri Soler.
Jean Pierre Cachia received the 'Customer Mania' award. The Customer Mania programme is designed for those crew members who go that extra mile to help our customers.
Louis A Farrugia thanked the employees present and all those who are currently employed with Pizza Hut, for their commitment and dedication. He said: "Although still a young company, Pizza Hut has built a solid foundation and is dynamic and strong enough to meet the challenges ahead. Our employees are continuously being trained to ensure that we offer the best service to our customers."
To mark the 10th Anniversary, Pizza Hut organised two major activities during the month of September. These included a radio marathon in aid of charity and a pizza recipe competition.
Pizza Hut restaurants are located in St. Julian's, Sliema, Valletta and at Galleria in Fgura. The Pizza Hut franchise is operated in Malta by Food Chain Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc.
