The Farsons Beer Festival starts tonight

The 39th edition of the Farsons Beer Festival starts tonight, 25 July and runs until Saturday 3 August at Ta’ Qali National Park.

An eagerly-awaited event, the Farsons Beer Festival has firmly established its place in the Maltese summer calendar, bringing together a great choice of beer and a varied music programme that offers as many genres of the local music scene as possible.

Tonight, the Main Stage starts at 9pm with Luke Chappell, followed by The New Victorians and headliners Manatapu. The Alternative Stage also starts at 9pm with Sonic Storm, It Came From The Desert and Loathe.

Gaia and Lyndsay will be performing in the Carlsberg Bar and Guinness Pub area between 8pm and midnight, and Cedren and Manu-L in the Casa Electronica from 10pm to 1am.

Main Stage headliners over the weekend include Red Electrick tomorrow night, The Rifffs on Saturday night and Fakawi on Sunday night. The Alternative Stage will be headlined by the Rock Troupers tomorrow night, Beangrowers on Saturday night and The Ranch on Sunday.

Public Transport

Malta Public Transport has announced that it will be running a night service to and from the festival as follows:

Service to the event:
From Valletta to Farsons Beer Festival, Ta’ Qali: every 30 minutes between 7pm and 10pm.

Service from the event:
From Farsons Beer Festival, Ta’ Qali to Bugibba and St Julian’s: 2 departures every hour between 10pm and 1am, one directly to Bugibba and the other directly to St Julian’s.

On Friday 26 July, Saturday 27 July, Friday 2 August and Saturday 3 August the service to St Julian’s connects to all night routes: https://www.publictransport.com.mt/en/night-routes

Doors open at 8pm every night. Entrance is free of charge and no entry tickets are required. Free parking is available in the vast parking area outside the park.

The festival is sponsored by Vodafone and supported by XFM, Krea, PRS for Music, Peperami, Focal Maritime and Duracell. Other partners include Mapfre Middlesea and Mars.
