Global brand Monin celebrates 100 years 15/05/2012

2012 sees Monin, the brand of choice for many bartenders and baristas, celebrate its 100 year anniversary. The company has successfully evolved from selling wines and spirits from a horse and cart, into an international, multi-million turnover operation.

Monin is the result of the shared passion of three generations – the company’s founder Georges Monin, his son Paul and now his grandson Olivier. Together, they have built a company renowned for its quality products including premium syrups, liqueurs, gourmet sauces, fruit smoothies and cocktail mixes.

Over the years Monin has gained a reputation of being innovative and always ahead of its time. Monin does not only provide products but solutions. The company has four creative studios worldwide and a team of local drinks experts, who develop menus and new recipes for both the cocktail and the coffee market.

With its international reach and presence in 140 countries, export sales now represent 75% of all sales, and yet, the heart of the company remains in its home town of Bourges, central France, anchored by its heritage and family values. 

To celebrate its centenary, Monin is launching a series of events and promotions throughout 2012.
