Cisk Is: new marketing campaign for Malta’s iconic brand 12/04/2010

A new advertising campaign for Cisk Lager, Malta’s iconic beer brand, has just been launched across various local media. The campaign, based on the ‘Cisk Is’ communications platform, features an evocative blond protagonist wearing a distinctive yellow jacket and riding a white stallion, making a powerful statement for this quintessential Maltese brand.

Entirely shot in Malta and using only local talent, the campaign focuses on a white stallion, an integral part of the Cisk logo over the years. This white stallion is also found on a coat or arms in the ballroom of Palazzo Parisio, which was purposely used as a location for the shooting of this commercial owing to its history and heritage associated to that of Cisk.

Cisk Lager is a golden-coloured, bottom-fermented lager with a distinctive and well-balanced character, with its recipe remaining unchanged since the original 1928 Cisk Pilsner. Cisk Lager has since become a key brand in the portfolio of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc, winning several major international awards over the years.

The Cisk brand also includes Cisk Export Premium Lager, Cisk Excel and Cisk Extra Strong. Cisk beers are brewed, marketed and distributed by Simonds Farsons Cisk plc, a member of the Farsons Group.
