Winner of trip to Super Cup in Monaco 13/09/2007

Carlsberg beer has this year given the opportunity to its consumers to win a VIP package to see the SUPER CUP – MILAN AC vs FC SEVILLA played in Monaco on Friday, 31st August 2007. This game saw the winning teams of the Champions League final and the UEFA Cup Final play each other to definitely decide the best team in Europe.

The lucky winner, Daniel Zammit, flew to Monaco to experience one of the most prestigious football events of the season. The prize included an attractive VIP Carlsberg hospitality package during and after the game with all expenses paid and ‘probably the best’ football experience one could enjoy.

“This promotion was part of the Carlsberg Part of the Game initiative, and reinforces Carlsberg’s strong association with football, opening the doors to much-awaited activities next year with Euro 2008,” said Ms Yanika Mattei, Brand Executive for Carlsberg in Malta.

The promotion was held in several participating bars and pubs and entitled any consumer who purchased 2 Carlsberg bottles to participate. On purchase, consumers were given a scratch card which revealed a code, which was then sent by sms to a specific number. The draw, monitored by the Department of Lotto, was held in July.
