Pizza Hut's flagship restaurant in Sliema has re-opened its doors with a fresh new look. Significant investment has transformed the restaurant from a franchise restaurant to a more casual-dining atmosphere, with a focus on ambiance and clean, modern decor.

The Sliema restaurant was the second in Malta to be opened under the Pizza Hut franchise, operated by Food Chain (Holdings) Limited, in 1993. The opening was an instant hit with the locals and remains till today, a very popular brand for its innovation and great food offers.

The restaurant decor has been given a major uplift that complements the high-traffic Bisazza Street image. The decor is in line with the new image that Pizza Hut worldwide is working on in all its markets. Malta has taken a leading role, and by end of this year, all Pizza Hut restaurants will be in line with the new image. Moreover, all restaurants are being designed in a way that they can take on new concepts that Pizza Hut is working on at the moment. "We work very closely with our franchisors to be able to provide the best and the latest offers to our Maltese customers," commented Ms Stefania Conte, General Manager for Food Chain (Holdings) Ltd. "Malta is almost always in the top 10 European markets when it comes to innovation," added Ms Conte.

Commenting on the transformation, Ms Conte thanked the Refurbishment Project Team, led by Restaurants Operations Manager, Mr Alex Mifsud, for managing the project within the stipulated deadlines and up to Pizza Hut franchise standards. This is the third Pizza Hut new-look restaurant, after the opening of the new outlet in Bay Square, Bugibba, and the refurbishment of the St Julians restaurant. At present, Valletta restaurant is closed for refurbishment.
