Simonds Farsons Cisk plc has published an interesting book entitled “L-Industrija ta’ Simonds Farsons Cisk Ltd l-Imriehel – Malta”, and penned by Mr Richard Matrenza about the Brewery as it existed way back in 1956. Farsons Group Chief Executive Mr Louis A Farrugia recently made a formal presentation of the book to Mr Matrenza at the Brewery.

Fifty years ago, while following a Teacher’s Training Course, Mr Matrenza chose to focus on an important manufacturing enterprise of the time for his dissertation.  He wrote an interesting report describing Simonds Farsons Cisk as it stood in 1956.

The publication of this attractive facsimile of Mr Matrenza’s original work was entrusted to Book Distributors Ltd of San Gwann.
