The official launch of the BMW WilliamsF1 Team Supporters Club is being held on the 20th February 2004 at 7:15pm at Korradino Sports Pavillion, Korradino Huts, Paola.  The Korradino Sports Pavillion will eventually be the official club premises.

“The main aim of this club is to get together supporters of the BMW WilliamsF1 Team, so as to share their ideas and passion, and be able to watch the races together,” said Michael Debono, Club Secretary. “The club is planning to organise various related activities throughout the whole season. This is something the club will be working on non-stop!”

Geoffrey Busuttil, Budweiser Brand Manager said, “Budweiser is already well-known for sponsoring sports worldwide. In addition to its motor sports sponsorships, Budweiser is the ‘official beer’ of Manchester United and the FIFA World Cup™.”

“Budweiser has also been a significant sponsor of sports in Malta. We are delighted to extend our involvement with BMW WilliamsF1 Team Supporters Club in Malta and share the enthusiasm and sporting spirit of the many motor racing fans,” added Mr Busuttil.
