Inaugurated in 1950, the Farsons Brewery in Mriehel is a magnificent building that still retains its original features.
Starting with a visual presentation about Simonds Farsons Cisk plc, its history and the products the company produces, imports and distributes, the guided tour then proceeds to:-

the Museum displaying company memorabilia; |

the Old Boardroom where a magnificent 18th century tapestry by the famous Flemish weaver, Urban Leyuiers is displayed; |

the Brew House where beer is still brewed in the original giant copper vessels dating back to 1950; |
| |
|
| - |
the Process Block where the beer is fermented and filtered; |
| |
|
| - |
and finally the Bottling Hall where the beer is bottled, canned or kegged. |
The tour ends at the bar for a taste of the beer!

Guided tours of the Brewery are held from Monday to Friday - mornings only. Tours are in Maltese or English and take around two hours. Bookings are on a first come, first served basis. We accept groups of not less than 10 persons and not more than 45.
Charge is €5.50 per person. |
