Accounts Clerk 05/09/2018

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the selected candidate will be mainly required to provide the most efficient, reliable and timely service in support to the smooth running of the department.


  • Carry out necessary workings/costings on incoming documents;
  • Post any stock adjustments, requisitions or other accounting documents to appropriate ledgers;
  • Carry out bank reconciliations;
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly excise duty workings;
  • Assign expenses to appropriate cost centres including coding and checking of approved invoices;
  • Prepare reports and assist in the analysis of accounts as required;
  • Carry out stock take and reconciliations in the various sections;
  • Liaise courteously with customers, clients, suppliers, creditors, and other stakeholders as necessary.

The selected candidate will:

  • Have at least an ‘O’ level qualification in accounts;
  • Have good communication and organisational skills;
  • Be ICT literate;
  • Be ready to work flexibly in a team.

Experience would be considered an asset.
