This coming 10th November, T.G.I. Friday's in Malta will be hosting an important event in the annual calendar of T.G.I. Friday's Worldwide.

Ten top international T.G.I. Friday's bartenders, including our own Maltese bartender, Kevin Cacciattolo, winner of the local Bartender Challenge last 1st September 2004, will be assessed on bar-flaring, pouring of wine, beer and spirits, fruit and mixes sensitivity, wine bottle opening, drinks recipes and suggestive selling, food knowledge, and speed of service. Judges will be scrutinizing their performance, and only the best bartender with the least mistakes will make it to the top prize and automatic participation in the World Bartender Championship, which will be held in the Bahamas in March next year.

The bartender competition is open to the general public, who is being urged to come and support the Maltese bartender, Kevin Cacciattolo, during his performance. Kevin has been training intensively ever since winning the local competition, under the strict guidance of Mr. Shawn Caruana, T.G.I. Friday's Restaurant Manager. The competition/performance commences at 19:00 and continues till late.
