Food Chain (Holdings) Limited supports The Richmond Foundation 10/28/2004

As part of its commitment to social responsibility, Food Chain (Holdings) Limited are supporting The Richmond Foundation in the implementation of a National Communications Program.  The program has two objectives: to reduce the stigma of mental health difficulties through talks and discussions, and to increase awareness of the services provided by The Richmond Foundation.

"We have always strived to support various NGOs who do a great job in the community by providing particular services to many persons in need. This is another opportunity for us to contribute to the welfare of the Maltese community," said Ms Stefania Conte – General Manager, Food Chain (Holdings) Limited.

Whilst thanking Food Chain (Holdings) for their support, Ms. Doris Gauci, Chief Executive Officer of The Richmond Foundation, explained, "The Richmond Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit making organization, providing various services in the field of mental health. Our services are aimed both at persons experiencing mental illness, and at providing prevention services. We encourage other local companies to follow in the footsteps of Food Chain (Holdings) to promote a better society and to help people in need."

Food Chain (Holdings) Limited is a fully-owned subsidiary of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc, and operates four international franchises in Malta, namely Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut and T.G.I. Friday's.
